Join Wisconsin author, Susan Marshall, as she shares her story about her caregiving journey with her mother who was living with Alzheimer’s disease. Susan will share her journey of dealing with feelings of inadequacy, helplessness and frustration while making important decisions, hosting tough conversations, and managing day-to-day life outside of the caregiving role.
How does one cope and keep some sense of humor and balance? With favorite treats! In moderation, of course.
Susan will discuss the importance of coping behaviors and the slippery slope of over-dependence that threatens to make everything worse.
