Villa Louis

Villa Louis is Wisconsin’s premier Victorian country estate. With 90% of the original contents in place, the site is a virtual textbook of daily life in Victorian America. At the core of the estate are four historic buildings with 30 furnished rooms. Surrounding the mansion are restored gardens and lawns. Also located on the site is a museum documenting the fur trade and Wisconsin’s only War of 1812 Battlefield. Voted the best guided tour in Wisconsin, tours are led by trained interpreters wearing Victorian-era clothing.

Bus will leave from the Green County Human Services parking lot on Wednesday, June 15th, at 8am sharp for a 10:30 am tour. Cost is $15 for transportation and $10.50 for tour.

Lunch will be at Simply Coffeehouse & Eatery which is located in Prairie du Chien’s historic downtown. They provide an extensive lunch menu, along with a tempting array of sweets.

Reservations are required by Monday, June 6th and can be made by calling Katie at the ADRC office at 328-9499.
