Healthy Eating

Learn How to Eat Healthy and Exercise More!

Try a Healthy Eating for Successful Living Workshop

New in 2015, The Aging & Disability Resource Center is expanding its prevention programming to include a healthy eating workshop called Healthy Eating for Successful Living.

Healthy Eating for Successful Living is a proven program designed to help you assess your current eating habits and then set small, realistic goals to improve your nutrition. Other topics include keeping a food journal, understanding the USDA’s MyPlate concept and how it can work for you. As well as tips on ordering at a restaurant and how to shop for healthy food with a grocery store trip.

Healthy Eating for Successful Living meets weekly for six weeks for 2.5 hours.  New participants may only join week 1 and 2. To sign up or for more information, please call the Aging & Disability Resource Center at 608-328-9499.
