The Iowa County Social Services, Aging and Disability Resource Center, and Veteran’s Service Office, located at 303 W. Chapel St., are updating the building entrance and front desk area to enhance service for visitors. The new Information Center will serve as a central hub where visitors can check in, ask questions, and be directed to the appropriate services. We encourage visitors to stop by and experience these improvements firsthand.
Beginning Monday, February 10, 2025, all visitors should use the entrances located on Merrimac Street or Chapel Street. The former Aging and Disability Resource Center and Veteran’s Service Office entrance will no longer be available.
This change is designed to improve privacy, enhance safety, and provide a more welcoming experience for those visiting our offices. Clear signage will be posted to guide visitors, and staff will be available to assist with the transition.
“This change reflects our commitment to ensuring that every visitor has a safe and welcoming experience,” said Tom Slaney, Director of Social Services. “We look forward to welcoming visitors and ensuring they receive the assistance they need in a more efficient way.” Please reach out to the ADRC with any comments or questions at 608-930-9835.
